Xu Chen, LAc, LMT

Xu Chen, LAc, LMT, is New York State licensed as both an acupuncturist and massage therapist. She has 15+ yrs experience as a massage therapist having obtained her Massage license from the Healing Hands School in NJ in 2011. She also has 6+ yrs experience as an acupuncturist having graduated from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, NY with a Master of Science in Acupuncture in 2019.

Inspired by traditional Chinese culture and the healing power of nature, Xu is passionate about Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture as supportive therapies within the modern healthcare system. Her skills as both an acupuncturist and medical massage therapist allow her to treat pain, restore balance, improve function and support each patient’s overall recovery and quality of life. Ms. Chen treats various pain syndromes, general internal medicine and women’s health problems (e.g., infertility, menopause, etc.), and many other medical conditions.

Xu also hopes to help more people better understand acupuncture and the benefits that natural therapies can offer to overall health and well-being.

Xu is deeply committed to thoughtfully integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine along with medical massage therapy for Evia Medical Center’s patients to support healing in a natural and holistic way.
